Graphology

BALANCING LIFE

Back
Graphologists vary in just how much handwriting they need to get an accurate representation of an individual. Many will ask for as much as a page of A4 script while others can be extremely accurate with just one paragraph of text that includes every letter of the alphabet. For general analysis a good rule of thumb is to have the individual write about 10 lines of specimen text.

Start at the end???

Analysing the handwriting from the end of a specimen has the effect of the graphologist not getting caught up with the content of the text. This method will help ensure the analysis is done without any kind of external factors involved and the details of the text are more likely to be noted.

Illegible handwriting

It may be an unconscious, or even deliberate cover for poor spelling. We may assume that the individual in not dyslexic but perhaps should establish the fact regardless. Generally, the writing of this nature indicates an individual who keeps things so close to their chest that they may be devious by nature. You will never know where you stand with this individual. They are evasive and sly and it is impossible to follow them. They may have personal charm and know how to use exactly the right words in order to persuade, charm and give the feeling you are the most important thing that had ever happened to them. They are, in fact, incapable of truly loving. Their emotions are disturbed and they may hurt you without even knowing it. They do not have the time or the patience for long lasting procedures. Maybe this explains to some degree why doctors write prescriptions the way they do. They need to get to the next patient quickly, although modern day surgeries are now using printers from databases to do this task. People that write with unrecognisable letterforms so pinched that they are difficult to make out are unconsciously admitting they are a little afraid of being understood. It can represent either dishonesty or fear. The word for illegible writing is cacography.
